Iglesia Nuestra Señora de la Luz
The Parish Church of Our Lady of Light is located in the town of Los Silos on the Island of Tenerife. The temple was built on the land in which it was located in the first hermitage that was erected in the municipality, and dates from the late sixteenth century. The Church of Our Lady of Light was completely renovated at the beginning of the 20th century by the Mariano Estanga architect. This reform gave another air to the church, although the stone façade was preserved, a new neo-gothic style was implemented on the exterior of the building. The interior of the Church of Our Lady of Light keeps numerous religious treasures, we must highlight the images of the Christ of Mercy which is the work of the Andalusian sculptor Juan de Mesa, you can also see the Lord of Humility and Patience which is from the mid-seventeenth century and of course the Virgen de La Light. According to legend, the image of the Virgin of Light was found by a Portuguese fisherman. The church is located in the heart of Los Silos in the Plaza de La Iglesia.

Horno de Cal de Los Silos
On the coast of Los Silos are the remains of a historic complex consisting of two attached kilns that in the past served for the manufacture of lime for agricultural use and as construction material. This historic complex is located in the Puertito de Daute and the oldest of the kilns dates from the 19th century, another of them dates from 1931. The construction of the stone kilns are simple and they are composed of stone and brick for the most part. The set is also composed of the old warehouse where it is located next to the ovens as well as a small pond that served to finish the final product. Los Hornos de Cal were declared Assets of Cultural Interest along with all the historical center of the population of Los Silos. The kilns were working until the 70s, when the use of cement began to be generalized.

Esqueleto de Ballena
In Los Silos you will find one of the most recognizable monuments of this part of the island, known as Sculpture of La Ballena. An impressive skeleton of Rorcual Boreal which is located on the beach of Charco de la Araña in the neighborhood of San José. The specimen that is exposed in this place appeared stranded off the coast of Arinaga in Gran Canarias and was reconstructed and exposed, currently it is One of the most recognized symbols of the municipality of Los Silos, is about 18 meters long.
